Welcome to MIOS 2024

Dear Colleagues,

It is with great pleasure that we announce the II MIOS (Minimally Invasive Orthognathic Surgery) Meeting, which will take place from May 22nd to 24th, 2024. For the first time, we will have the honor of hosting this prestigious event in Europe, specifically in Barcelona.

Following the experience of the Organizing Committee in more than 14 editions of cadaver courses, explaining step by step the technical variants of this surgical modality, we were able to hold the first edition of the MIOS Meeting in Brazil last October. The event, with an eminently practical format, was a resounding success in terms of participation and, above all, beneficial knowledge exchange directly applicable to our professional practice.

Now, we aim to extend this meeting to Europe, to make a difference, with the participation of worldwide leading teams in minimally invasive orthognathic surgery. Therefore, the four-day event will feature live surgery, where we can learn step by step the variants and details that make this type of surgery special, detailed virtual planning of each case, and the opportunity to practice techniques on cadavers surrounded by teachers willing to share all the secrets and tricks gained from their professional practice. We are once again betting on a non-conventional theoretical format, with roundtables for direct discussion, which will allow us to address very specific aspects that represent the everyday situations and problems in our consultations and operating rooms, as well as openly listen to other colleagues.
